The Board of Trustees of the Rim of the World Unified School District, at their regular board meeting of October 20, 2011, took action to make a provisional appointment to fill the vacancy of Mr. Ed Brittain, Trustee Area No. 3, Running Springs.  Mr. Brittain’s resignation was effective December 2011.

Tamara Decroo was appointed to fill this vacancy at the October 20, 2011 Board of Trustees Meeting and will serve this term through November 2012, at which time a regular election will be held.

Unless a petition calling for a special election pursuant to Education Code 5091, containing a sufficient number of signatures is filed in the Office of the County Superintendent of Schools of the County of San Bernardino within thirty (30) days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
